Crop Nutrition is essential for achiving desired yield and quality
Nutrition is applied typically by providing a single or a mix of nutrients to crops either by foliar or soil applications. Although mineral requirements and interactions have been researched, there is still little knowledge on understanding the mechanism of uptake. Crop Intellect researched extensively Magnesium (Mg) as the essential element allowing plants to form chlorophyll and convert light into energy. A disruptive technology was invented to activate the chlorophyll production mechanism to increase Mg uptake and produce more chlorophyll. This in turn increases biomass and yield production consistently.
A patent family was successfully granted to protect the invention globally. The patent was licensed and recently sold to a subsidiary of Cargill to be commercialised globally.
